Well, maybe not all of them, but you can find the answers to some of the most common questions below.
How would you describe your style?
Raw, organic emotion and the fragments that make up your narrative. That’s what I’m after. My work depicts vivid colors, meaningful relationships, personal quirks, candid moments, and artful details. You wrote the story. Let me illustrate it.
How long does it take for us to receive our photos?
The turnaround time for a wedding is 60 days and for a portrait session is 14 days, but I tend to post spoilers on Facebook/Instagram.
How will I receive my images?
You’ll get an online gallery of your fully edited high-resolution images!
How many photos will I get?
For a portrait session you’ll receive at least 25 images and for a wedding at least 400 images. I like to spoil my clients though, so it’s likely you’ll get more. Ask me about what elements contribute to getting more photos from your wedding day!
Can I have all of the unedited photos?
I don’t deliver unedited photos. The photography process is only halfway done after the images are shot. If you don’t love my editing style then we may not be a good fit.
What should I wear for my photoshoot?
Portraits are a way of telling the world who you are, so wear something you feel represents you and your style! Textures and patterns add another element of interest to your photos. It’s great if you can find a shirt with a fun texture or collar to bring attention up towards your face. Colors that contrast with your skin will help make you pop! Clothing items that are loose or flowy can also make for some dramatic motion shots!
Should we invest in a second shooter?
A second shooter is essentially another photographer to help capture everything. A second shooter provides an alternate vantage point, ensures no moments are missed, helps me by positioning lights and communicating with everyone, and ultimately results in you receiving more photos from your wedding. I absolutely recommend opting for a second shooter!
What is a first look and should we have one?
A first look is time set aside before the ceremony where the bride & groom see each other in their wedding attire for the first time. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference, but it can be VERY BENEFICIAL, and here’s 9 Reasons Why!
Do you have any advice from a photographer’s perspective for our wedding day?
Make a timeline and add in plenty of buffer time(I can help!). Pick a pretty and uncluttered place with some room to breathe to get ready.(Bonus points if there are plenty of windows for natural light.) Have an unplugged ceremony! We’ll get all of the awesome shots. Let your guests soak in the moment with you. Splurge on an amazing photographer who shares your vision!(Your photos will outlive your cake and flowers)
